The DPO Desk

The DPO role, run as a desk.

Seven stations prepare the work your Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) duties create. One human reviews and signs every output. You approve anything that goes to the Personal Data Protection Commissioner (the Commissioner) or to the people whose data you hold. You approve; you do not assemble.

Today our founder does each station's work, with AI-assisted first drafts; the software that will run each station is still being built.

Who it is for

  • The person who became Data Protection Officer (DPO) on top of the day job, at a Malaysian company of 50 to 500 people.

  • IT, enterprise resource planning (ERP) and payroll providers. You process other companies' personal data, so since 1 April 2025 the Security Principle binds you directly.

    PDPA s.5(1A), in force 1 Apr 2025.

The gate

Three layers of sign-off.

  1. The AI agents prepare: drafts, registers, clocks and evidence.
  2. Our founder reviews and signs off every output.
  3. Your company stays the controller. Your accountable person approves anything sent to the Commissioner or to the people whose data you hold.

Nothing is sent without a signature.

Every month

One evidence pack: what each station did, when, and who signed it. Paper you can show a board, a client or the Commissioner.

How we start

With the PDPA Check-up (RM1,800, fixed): it ends with your data map, a breach-response sheet and a fix list in order, which the Desk then keeps current.

About the PDPA Check-up

Prices: DPO Desk from RM1,500/month. PDPA Check-up RM1,800, fixed.

Not legal advice. The Desk prepares compliance work for your review; it does not replace a lawyer.
